Currently PTE testing is available across Australia in 26 centres, including in major cities such as Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin, Perth, and Sydney.
The lifting of COVID-19 restrictions by the Victoria State Government on October 27 will allow further centres in the region to open up over the coming weeks.
Demand from candidates to book an appointment is extremely high and test–takers are urged to check on a regular basis so they don’t miss out on slots becoming available at their preferred test centre.
All test centres have been opened in strict accordance with local authority requirements and with all necessary health and safety measures.
Sasha Hampson, Head of PTE for APAC, said: “I am pleased that we have been able to re-open PTE test centres across Australia and help meet demand from test–takers, universities, professional bodies such as nursing, and government. Whilst doing this, we have strictly complied with local authority requirements and all necessary health and safety measures to support the safety of our test–takers and staff.”
“All five of the Pearson Test Centres in Victoria are open, and the test centres run by universities will be gradually opening when their management permit”.
Please check for updates as centres re-open.
