E2Expert: Jackson

Jackson is one of our IELTS and PTE tutors.


Jackson was born in Sydney, Australia and has over ten years of experience in English teaching, working in China, Malaysia, Vietnam and Australia. Jackson has a wealth of experience in the teaching field, working as an IELTS Speaking and Writing Examiner, an Academic English Teacher and a Director of English Language Studies. With a BA in Primary Education, CELTA and a Master of TESOL, Jackson is highly qualified to join the E2Language team to teach IELTS & PTE. He’s excited to work with E2’s innovative teachers and staff.

What do you like doing in your spare time? Any hobbies? 

Travelling, hiking, playing board games, reading, watching sport and movies.

What do you do first thing every morning? 

Say goodbye to my wife! (she works in an office)

What country is on your bucket list to travel to? 


What would you like remembered about you? 

Whatever it is, I’d like people to picture me when my hair was blond instead of brown-silver, like it is now. 

Who is your number one inspiration? 

My parents.

What is your spirit animal?


If you could have dinner with one famous person (dead or alive) who would it be? 

Malcolm Gladwell. Not famous enough? Then, Jay Z. Still not famous enough? Rihanna. She seems fun.

How do you take your coffee?


If you could eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be? 

My wife’s cooking.

What’s your favourite movie? 

A toss-up between Pulp Fiction and Paddington.

What would be your superpower?

Getting the crankiest person in the room to laugh.
