If you have decided to switch your focus to a different test (IELTS, PTE or OET) or if you are wondering whether you have the required English level to start preparing for a test, you might be curious to know your equivalent score.
The chart below can be used as a guide to understanding not only your equivalent score in the IELTS, PTE and OET but also how your test score is mapped against IELTS and Common European Framework English Levels.
|IELTS English Levels||IELTS||PTE Academic||PTE Changes 2020||OET||CEFR English Levels|
To compare PTE scores against TOEFL scores, refer to Global Scale of English.
Note: The 2020 update to the PTE score will not affect your test result! Your test results will remain the same, i.e. if you scored 79 previously, you would expect to score the same, your English proficiency level won’t change.
